The Quick Pics section provides a brief sample of the work I do, but there’s a story—or at least a larger process—behind each of those photos. Below are some of my favorites, from custom wood paneling to a project that made camping on the coast a little more comfortable.

what an island!
The Design View- Modeled in Solidworks and rendered in 3ds Max. The Solidworks model was used to get the geometry as all the curves needed to accommodate things like appliances, supports, plumbing, and knees.
The glued and semi roughed in ash blanks lined up for visual inspection.
The Finished Island
man cave walnut panels
Designed in Solidworks and visualized in 3ds Max. The model was used to create the files for cutting the walnut panels on the 3 axis CNC machine.
Off of the machine and sanded. Modeled in flats for outlet covers.
The finished look lit from above with an led strip light hidden behind a blackened steel valence.
altar of technology
I just love the name. Used sketch up to get this quick render.
But first, built this in Solidworks. 3ds max with ies lighting setups helped to locate the lighting in design stage.
camp kitchen
Many weekends out surfing at the coast and cooking for our family and friends was the driving force behind this project. Modeled in Solidworks. The curves are foam carved on the CNC machine. Epoxied to the subframe and then covered with fiberglass and resin.
I like to be able to move around and not be limited to the space an enclosed camper or motor home sticks you with. A good 3 season option.
