KDB Inc is the working name for twenty-five plus years of making things on the Kitsap Peninsula. The work spans design, fabrication, construction, and sculpture — sometimes all in the same project.

The process usually starts with a conversation, then moves to a computer. SolidWorks, CAD, 3D visualization — not because the technology is impressive but because working through a problem in three dimensions before cutting anything saves time, money, and mistakes. From there it moves into the shop or onto the site. CNC cutting, welding, concrete, cabinetry, composites, mold making, casting. The tools change depending on what the project needs.

What doesn't change is the approach. Things get built the way they need to be built — with the right materials, the right joinery, the right finish. This takes more time and costs more money than the alternative. It also lasts.

The clients who work best with this studio are the ones who already know what they want but need someone who can figure out how to actually make it. People who care about the object as much as the idea behind it.
